We Are Giving
We Are
Innovators.
Driven.
Curious.
Dedicated.
Family.
Giving.
We are a team—and not just on game day. From November 17–23, Penn State is competing with Ohio State to see which school can raise the most $5 gifts for their food pantries. No student should go to class hungry. Every Penn Stater should feel like they’re a part of a family. Let’s #TackleHunger. And let’s beat the Buckeyes. Because We Are Penn State.

Giving to Penn State changes lives
Welcome, Alyssa Wilcox!
On January 13, 2025, Alyssa M. Wilcox, senior vice president and chief campaign planning officer at Purdue University, became the new vice president for development and alumni relations at Penn State.
Giving to Penn State counts
It is estimated that more than a third of college students around the country cannot afford enough to eat.
A $5 gift to the Tackle Hunger Challenge helps Penn State food pantries across the Commonwealth to provide approximately 20-25 meals to any student in need, no questions asked.
Hundreds of Penn Staters visit campus pantries each week—but many who need the services don’t use them out of embarrassment or because they don’t know that help is there.
